SOFT SKILLS
SOFT SKILLS is a research project on mechanisms used in viral choreographies and performative content of TikTok to attract viewers. The embodied research focuses on the mechanisms of seduction and gender performances repeating in those representations of dance online. The work happened in a dance studio and on TikTok. It lasted four months between January and April 2023.
This research project was funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media within the framework of the initiative NEUSTART KULTUR, aid programm DIS-TANZEN by the Dachverband Tanz Deutschland.
